Welcome to the @Preschool area of the web site. Here we aim to give you a flavour
of what we do and where we do it. Let’s start by looking at the spaces we use.
Our aim is to encourage independence. When children first arrive, we require parents
to help their children find their coat peg.
Then: Named Coats are hung up on pegs Suitably sized named bags
go in a line on the floor under the coats Named drinks bottles go
in designated area within the room Named Lunch boxes should be
placed in the lunch baskets if your child stays for lunch
Please ensure you nameEVERYTHING... ...........cups, bottles, bags, coats, hats,
shoes etc! If they weren’t born with it...name it! Thanks!
All children begin their sessions with free play until registration and our ‘greeting’.
For the rest of their session, children choose from a selection of fun activities
and toys to play with - both inside and outside. These are accompanied by planned
activities to enhance their learning which are focused on their individual needs
The staff are positive role models, helping children to learn about themselves, their
environment, their peers, the resources and materials we provide at preschool, all
aimed to promote their development and sense of independence, fun and well-being.
